2025-26 Week #12 Team Ratings and Rankings Released
MHR Week #12 Rankings are now available! This past week was a busy one for our admin team, volunteers, members and GameSheet API. We added a whopping 24,148 new game results. MHR now has 215,471 counting game scores in the system. 20,426 teams have now met the 5 game minimum to be ranked, an increase of 1,490 teams over last week.
It was a big week for many High School ranking categories in MHR. As High School hockey is now well underway in most states, we’ve set additional High School ranking categories live. Michigan, Minnesota (Boys & Girls), Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas are a handful of the states that now have rankings ready to view. Please remember to keep an eye out for inaccurate or erroneous game scores. Like any statistical mode, our algorithm and in return our rankings, are only as good as the data entered into the system. A game score incorrectly assigned to the programs "AAA" team instead of the "AA" team, “Varsity HS” team instead of “JV” team or "18U" team instead "16U" team can all skew the rankings and have a negative impact on overall accuracy.
