MYHockey Volunteer Details
Many have asked, what does volunteering for MYHockey entail. Actually, it is surprising simple.
- Register to volunteer
- Login to MYHockey
- Review the basics behind MYHockey
- Approve any online guest entered game scores
- Add any missing game scores for the teams in your division
- Repeat steps 2, 4, 5 weekly throughout the season

The MYHockey Volunteer Home Page contains links to a number of resources and supplemental tools, but 90% of the use consists of clicking on scores icon (circled in red):

By clicking on the scores icon, it opens the following page which enables you to quickly add new scores for that team. It also lists the existing scores so that you do not waste time entering scores that have already been posted. All fields are drop-downs or checkboxes and it takes only a few seconds to enter a score.

When logging in, you may first be taken to the "Review Scores" page, a list of all scores played by teams in your division(s) that have had scores entered by online guests. You approve or reject those scores with a single click.

Note that from the MYHockey Volunteer Home Page you can lookup the missing scores by clicking on the Division name (which is a hyperlink to the league website) or by clicking the team name (hyperlink to team website, when they exist).
Additional links and features are available, but are typically used infrequently. The pencil icon allows you to edit team or division information (i.e adding a team website).
