The NHL has announced start times for the first three games each Qualifying Round best-of-five series, as well as for some of the round-robin games to determine the top four seeds in the Eastern and Western Conferences, with training camps underway and the 2020 postseason tournament set to begin Aug. 1.

Qualifying Round games well begin Aug. 1, with Eastern Conference games at Scotiabank Place in Toronto and Western Conference games at Rogers Place in Edmonton. These games will feature the fifth-through-12^th seeds facing off in best-of-five series for the right to advance to the round of 16.

From that point on the playoffs will assume the normal best-of-seven format going forward, with the tams being re-seeded for each round. That means the highest-remaining seed will always face the lowest-remaining seed as the teams advance.

Round-robin games to determine the top-four seeds in each conference begin on Aug. 2 at the same locations. 

Below are the games that have been assigned start times. All times are Eastern. Television coverage will be announced later.
