MYHockey Silver Sponsorship Information

MYHockey will typically display silver two ads and one gold level ad per page. MYHockey does not believe in flooding the user with advertising. Pop-ups, flashing ads and other strong user turn-offs will not be used. In addition to two silver level advertisements, it is common for one gold level ad and possibly some Google Adwords will also be displayed on many MYHockey pages.

MYHockey will sell no more than ten (10) silver level ad spots. With two ads per page, your ad will display on at least 20% of the MYHockey pages viewed by users. If less than ten ads are sold at any one time, your ad may display more than 20% of the time. MYHockey web statistics show that the average MYHockey visitor sees 8-10 pages per visit, making the odds significant that most MYHockey visitors will see your advertisement on each visit.

MYHockey silver level ads are 120x90 (pixels).

Your initial purchase of a sponsorship does include services to create an initial, basic 120x90 graphic advertisement. Advertisers are more than welcome to have their own media or advertising departments provide graphics. This will not only expedite the process, but ensure that corporate trademarks are used appropriately.

Ad graphics can be changed at any time. In general, MYHockey will work with advertisers to make sure their advertising dollars are spent wisely and effectively. All reasonable requests for improvements will be honored. MYHockey reserves the right to charge a small fee if the requested services will take a significant amount of time to make.

MYHockey traffic is somewhat seasonal. Based on years of Google Analytics web statistics, MYHockey will see about 18 million pageviews during the 2011-12 season with the highest volume months seeing around 3.0M page views from 120-140K unique visitors.

The price for a 12 month contract, an estimated 4.0M ad impressions during the 2011-12 season, sells for $500. If silver level sponsorship opportunities are available, monthly silver level ad runs can be purchased for $100.

MYHockey uses PayPal services. Sponsors can pay with their PayPal account or by credit card. All transactions are secured by the same technology that has enabled EBay for years. Advertisers can pay by check or money order if necessary. All funds are USD. PayPal takes care of any Canadian dollar to USD conversions.
